Trudi A. Brown

Trudi A. Brown was named director of development at Campbell Law School in April 2012. Brown brings more than 10 years’ experience in fundraising, event management, and volunteer and board relations to the law school. She most recently served at NC State University’s Poole College of Management as director of development and external relations.

At NC State, Brown worked with alumni, corporations, and friends to secure financial support and identify opportunities to develop partnerships in support of the college’s students, faculty, and staff.

Prior to her tenure at NC State, Brown was the manager of annual programs and foundation operations at the WakeMed Foundation. At WakeMed, she ran all components of annual giving for the foundation and directed all operations, including reporting, donor relations, and board communications.

Brown previously held several marketing and community relations positions at Central Carolina Bank in nearby Durham, including vice president and regional sales and service director.

Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in marketing from NC State. A native of Goldsboro, N.C., she has lived in the Raleigh area for more than 20 years.
