Carmen Hoyme Bannon

Carmen Hoyme Bannon is Deputy Counsel for the North Carolina State Bar in Raleigh. She has been investigating and prosecuting disciplinary matters for the North Carolina State Bar since 2006. She received her B.S. degree from Brown University in 2000 and her J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 2005.  Immediately after law school, Ms. Bannon clerked for The Honorable Mark Martin at the North Carolina Supreme Court. Ms. Bannon gives frequent CLE presentations on legal ethics and is an adjunct professor of professional responsibility at Campbell Law.  She previously chaired the Juvenile Justice & Children’s Rights Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, is active on the Wake County Bar's Professionalism Committee, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Wake County Bar Association and 10th Judicial District Bar. Ms. Bannon is also a member of the South Carolina Bar.
