Campbell Law School

Rewarding excellence

Campbell Law School has dedicated a considerable amount of scholarship support for highly credentialed first-year students. Scholarship assistance is awarded to entering students primarily based on undergraduate GPA and LSAT scores.

All applicants admitted to Campbell Law School are considered for merit-based scholarships. Students do not need to apply for these scholarships since we automatically award them to students who qualify. All scholarship recipients will be notified by the Admissions Office.

Conditional Scholarship Data

The ABA policy states, "A law school shall publicly disclose on its website, in the form designated by the Council, its conditional scholarship retention data. A law school shall also distribute this data to all applicants being offered conditional scholarships at the time the scholarship offer is extended."  It is the practice of the School of Law to communicate this information in a letter to applicants at the time they apply for a scholarship.

Scholarship Retention

Scholarships are generally renewable at the same amount as long as the student maintains an 82 GPA.  The following table illustrates the retention rate for the previous three academic years.

Students who did not receive scholarships as first-year students may receive scholarship awards in subsequent years based on exceptional academic performance. Scholarship assistance is also available to students selected for student research positions and to those involved in certain student organizations.
